Description Videos Reviews The Revolution MINI Works Shorty Street Header is the highest flowing header on the market. This header is the best matched to a car with a big valve head that is trying to make the most horsepower that it can. Each tube is at equal length for maximum flow and is 304 Stainless steel that is fully TIG welded. It has the largest tubes possible to match the large ports of high flow heads. The RMW header really comes alive around 3500 in the rpm range, and pulls strong to red line. Gains range from 8-11 HP depending on modifications done to your vehicle. Now comes with a better cat. See the video below. Note: Any header is going to make your car twice a loud as it is right now. Be aware. Also it's going to be a tighter fit due to the large size; but no modifications need to be done to the car other than maybe bending a heat shield or two to clear the tubes better. Comes with new gaskets. It comes with the best GESI high flow cat on the market (49 states/Canada legal). Some older designs from time to time will get a SES light because of the cat code (P0420) depending on the tune and mods to the car. BUT they have updated to a new cat that is 49 states/Canada legal and is going to improve any chance of getting a SES light again. Now to the headers if you know what's going on in the mini world you know about the quality of these headers! I purchased this headers because I plan on looking in to a big valve head in the future and want to avoid having to open up the ports on any other headers purchased. The black heat coating is a great added bonus but still suggest wrapping these headers because you will not be able to put the factory one back on and gets pretty hot for the coolant and power steering tanks. As for the tone its meaner then ever, I have it mated to a milltek exhaust and it bolted up with no issue. There isn't to much of a tone difference until after 3500rpm and or at WOT. Get O2 sensor code at track only. clears itself on the drive home. Very pleased. DT Edit: if it is brand new you should not be getting any O2 Codes, and with the new Cat they used we have not seen any fail in the last few years.
