The result has much better durability and wear characteristics than the undersized bearings used in many competitors' plates. Provides up to -3 front camber! A huge benefit for the Mini chassis. A must for all track driven or autocross cars (when class rules allow for camber plates). There is no change in ride height from the OEM upper mounts (stack-up height is 51mm vs 53 for the stock mount + perch). 100% CNC machined, alloy steel bearing holders. Tough as a German Tank! All components plated for maximum corrosion resistance and long life. Red anodized aluminum CNC machined main plates. Vorshlag Upper spring perches included (see "Spring Perch" drop down option menu). Need help? Just give us a call and we can get you the correct part the first time! I went back and forth between a couple different brands and went with Vorshlag for a couple reasons. First is that when reading reviews and forum posts about each brand, I found that Vorshlag plates were purchased when another brand failed. Plus I never found a post or review where Vorshlag plates failed themselves. Second was the results from a quick email discussion with Chad at Detroit Tuned and his experiences with them on his personal vehicles. He made excellent points and past dealings with Detroit Tuned have all led to total success. Couple that with the fact that Detroit Tuned only sells this brand says something when other brands could be sold along with Vorshlag and a choice is made not to. That tells me something about the company and the product. After installing and driving on these plates for a little bit now I can say that these are excellent plates!. The steering is easier and tighter than the factory plates and I was able to get my camber setup perfectly. The alignment guy said they were the nicest set he's seen too. I don't think they ride more harsh than the factory runner mounted plates, but there is a difference and the difference is good! My car is a daily driver so the exposed spherical bearing is a bit of a concern, but the plates are rebuildable so I'm not worried. These plates can't be beat!
