By useing NGK Iridium IX Spark Plugs for Gen 1 MINI Cooper & S you will get the most out of your car. We stock three kinds of plugs for the Gen 1 cars, one for the Cooper, and two for the Cooper S. Two are stock heat ranges, and one is a colder heat range for the Gen 1 Cooper S with the JCW package or a 15% pulley (or more). It's cridical to run one heat rang colder for all pulley cars to protect against detonation due to the added heat.

Note: All plugs come pre-gapped.

Install tip: Torque new plugs with a torque wrench to min 25 ft lbs, DT tip.. give it a bit more, but not more than 35 ft lbs.
