Description Reviews The MINI Cooper Door Brake shown here is an OEM MINI Part. This is the 02/02- 04/03 Early Metal version 51-21-1-166-471. Here is the late G1/G2 door brake. It can fail over years of use being in the elements and more than likely never getting any lubrication. If your door will not stay open or is super hard to open, it needs one of these. It's an easy install with 3 simple screws and the new unit goes in thru the door pannel.
