Here is the best and most complete option for anyone that has decided the run flats were not the tire for them anymore (everyone?), but are afraid of running around without a spare. This spare tire will fit under the rear cargo tray area for long road trip or day to day driving. This 5 lug wheel will fit all F54 Clubmans. (See Photos) How To Install Photos are above!

This spare comes mounted and ready to use. Nothing could be easier. As an added bonus, we installed a sticker on it for quick & easy reference to show you to keep it inflated to 60 PSI & to install it on the rear! We also install a 2 inch valve stem to make checking and filling the air pressure easier. This wheel is a stock MINI spare tire rim (3.5 wide, 17" wheel, with a ET:18mm and 5x112mm lug pattern & 66.5 center bore), paired with a Kenda 125/70/17 tire to keep all your wheels close to the same diameter. This kit will fit over most front brakes that the MINI has, but will fit over ALL REAR brakes on the MINI UNLESS you have the JCW Sport Brake option (Brembo kit) on your car. And for safety, you should always run a spare tire on the rear. No Spacers, adapters, or special lugs needed to make this work with your MINI. This spare is about 23.9" in diameter and a little over 5" thick with the tire installed. This is the correct size spare for all MINIs no matter what size wheel and tire you have. This is designed to be used in an emergency situation for 60 miles or less and under speeds of 50 mph. By using this you will not cause any damage to the vehicle if driven in a normal manner.

We have paired the spare tire with the mounting system that MINI has designed for this spare. It comes with the the foam tool tray, cover and bolt. Your car may need some minor trimming to make everything fit and work. Cars that didn't get ordered with the mobility package have some different trim and may need light modification to make it all fit. All cars should have the nut insert already welded into the body, but you may need to make a hole in the floor panel with a sharp knife. Also the pocket the spare tire slides into might need trimming some of the plastic away to give it a pocket.

    F54 Spare Tire Kit

Everything fits in the space with a couple of minor mods (about 10 minutes with a 1" holesaw for the bolt and a razor knife to cut the relief in the back panel) as advertised. Room for a small compressor in the empty space, so I'm covered for anything.

First, I mounted the spare tire on the car to check fitment then put it in the rear compartment. Happy to say it fit like a glove. Only had to drill one 3/8" hole that's location was pre marked by MINI.

As others have said, perfect fit. The kit with jack and lug wrench fit perfectly in the storage within the spare tire. Excellent product and excellent service from Detroit Tuned!

After having two blown tires I decided to get this. Fits in Fits perfectly in the space at the back. Not sure why Mini didn't include this with the car.

I had this spare tire kit mounted into the boot of my Mini Clubman with ease and almost as quickly as it took for Detroit Tuned to ship me the kit. Thank you, now I can get rid of those run flat tires

Best Mini spare tire kit on the market. Well designed and discrete. Fits snug and doesn't move around - didn't even have to use the provided anchor. Highly recommend.

Fit perfect in the back of my Clubman with just minor trim of the rear liner. Just measure where the hole is on the metal floor and drill you floor liner. I also ordered the Jack and lug wrench. No More Run-Flat Tires for me.

MINI Cooper F54 Clubman Spare Tire Kit (5 Lug)

This is just what I was looking for, an OEM spare tire kit at a good price. This installs in the space below the floor of the cargo area in your Mini. You need to cut or drill a hole in the carpeted liner in the recess under the floor to get to the welded nut in the bottom that secures the spare and accessories in place. There is a small projection in the carpet the marks the area you need to cut. People say you need to cut the carpeted trim panel that runs across the back of the storage compartment. I just removed it completely so it can be reinstalled if the next owner want's to remove the spare and just go with run flats.
