Description Reviews MINI Cooper S N14 Valve Cover. This is the latest and greatest design of the OEM. This cover fails at the PCV valve system that is built into the valve cover and can not be replaced. This is due to extreme heat in the engine bay as well lack of oil changes due to MINI's extended oil service interval. You will hear a sucking sound from the back of the valve cover on really bad leaks that have triggered a check engine light; but normally you see a large amount of oil off the back of the valve cover. By fixing this, you should see better MPG because the car is working correctly. This valve cover will fit all N14 motors from 2007-2010 for all Cooper S's (R55, R56, R57) as well as all JCW motors for 2011 on R58 and R59 Cooper S's. If your cover doesn't look like this or you have any questions, please give us a call and have the last 7 of your VIN # handy (Example: TJ55937). This cover comes with all needed gaskets to complete the install. You reuse the bolts and the wire cover at the front from the old valve cover. Also this valve cover doesn't come with a MINI Logo in place. There is also no way to order it that way. You may be able to remove the old one and 3M double side tape it back down (what it is held on with). But it will fix all of your problems.
