Description Reviews If your timing chain cover has excessive oil on it, your crank seal could be working its way out. It is a simple item to replace, but the crank pulley must be removed to do so. You will need a special tool to remove and install it. We sell and rent them. If your seal fails, you could pump a lot of oil out of the engine. This seal is a brand new OEM MINI replacement part. (Look for the vintage Chrysler logo on it!) Note: Due to the huge jump in price, we are no longer stocking this seal and it is now special order. Look at the aftermarket option we offer.
