Description Reviews The MINI Cooper S N18 PCV Hose Kit is used to suck out the unwanted vapors in your crank case. PCV stands for Positive Crankcase Ventilation; it was learned a very long time ago that without it, your engine can explode. The problem with this one is the o-rings can leak and cause a vacuum leak. We have seen both leaks at the valve cover and the intake tube. While it's not a widespread problem, it's enough for us to keep one on hand when needed.
