Posted by M J on 25th Mar 2016 If you are replacing leaking oil filter housing seals don't forget these seals that go between the oil cooler and the housing. These are the latest OEM seals from Mini, according to the description. They may not be leaking, but why take a chance once you have gone to all the work to replace the housing to engine block seals? After removing the housing and throughly cleaning the unit, I put a light coat of Permatex Ultra Black RTV Silicone on the sealing edges, it helps seal and hold them in place while installing. 4 filter housing seals Posted by Nick Kirsch on 9th Mar 2016 seals fit just like OEM. Only problem i had was keeping them in place as I installed. Applied a little Rtv on back just to hold it inplace and it worked great.
