RPM POWER Engine Management Billet Valve Cover for R56 MINI Cooper S N14 Engine! Made to fit All N14 Cooper S/JCW motors from 2007-2010 and the JCW motors in 2011-2012. This valve cover is fully machined from Billet Aluminum T6 6061 and comes with Oil cap w/O-ring, PCV cover with O-ring, as well wiring cover with guide pins and is a must have part for any big turbo engine builds. One of the benefits from running this product, is that you can finally keep the carbon deposits from intake valves when used with the in-cover catch can for it to be achieved (when used with an additional external catch can). Some engines have less blow by, while some have more blow by, it all depends on age, mileage and how it was maintained. That's why a catch can setup is highly recommended. Carbon deposits and oil vapors reaching inside combustion are the main enemy causing pre-ignition (knock/detonation) as well degradation fuel quality.  All of this leads to performance loss as well clogged/seized oiling rings. We also noticed significantly improved idle quality, due to the lack of diaphragm interference. Read on to learn more about revolutionary valve cover design!

We can anodize in any color available from our source! (Lead time will increase, and color will be as close as we can get to requested) for an extra cost.

Parts included:

  • RPM Aluminum Valve Cover
  • OEM Valve Cover Gasket
  • Stainless Steel Hardware
  • One -10ORB plug and one -10ORB TO -10AN male plug
  • OEM plug for old PCV line from Intake manifold

RPM will also guide you how to complete the catch can setup if needed. Oil Catch Can setup w/ Vented configuration additional $275. (Photos coming to the web site soon!)

This was a very long project
that felt like it will never end. We started working on it in September of 2018 with countless hours in CAD, lots of challenges in design trying to accommodate every step that was planned for this product. Not sure how many times it was removed and installed on an engine, but we are happy with the final result and we would like to share it with you.  As everything else on these cars, the cylinder head is a very complex geometry that does not allow us to keep things simple. Besides accommodating every angle in the cylinder head shape, we also wanted to address the OEM melting wiring cover and very problematic PCV setup. We built a fully removable wiring cover with a flashy design that blends into the rest of the cover, that will never melt. Also there is a hidden wiring ground for a stealth look or you can keep using OEM ground bolt/stud if cover is going to be anodized. We also managed to fit locking points for wiring loom alligator clips. The main feature of this product, we implemented a self-draining baffled oil/vapor separator with two venting ports to -10ORB, that means oil vapors from crankcase ventilation will remain inside cover before exiting the breather port with a fully serviceable PCV cover. The reason why we went with two ports is we try to have it as universal as possible so it can accommodate any setup with right side catch can or left side catch can. Some race cars run wiper cowl some don’t, etc. If only one port is in use, other port can be plugged. If you need most out of your PCV ventilation you can use both ports. Let us know if you have any questions!

    Perfect fit and finish

Posted by Isaac on 24th Feb 2021

PCV went bad in my original factory valve cover and then I melted another oem cover on the track.

Bit the bullet, no more engineered failure points like the oem design.

Install was a breeze and the car has been running perfect since.

Side note, AEM strut tower bar won’t clear the top fittings. You may need low profile fittings or modify/replace your AEM strut tower bar.
